ニューヨークのMayer Brown LLPパートナーであるジョー・カステルッチオ氏が、2024年11月の米国選挙以来、暗号資産およびデジタル資産セクター全体における米国の政策がどのように大きく変化したかについて解説します。また、トランプ政権2期目の初期段階でとられた具体的な施策や、2025年に米国の暗号資産関連規制当局や議会がどのように動くのかについても展望を示します。さらに、米国証券取引委員会（SEC）による最新の措置、米国が中央銀行デジタル通貨（CBDC）や戦略的暗号資産準備を導入する可能性、そしてステーブルコインや暗号資産市場規制に関する新たな法整備の見通しなど、多岐にわたるトピックを議論します。

◎ Outline of Lecture
Joe Castelluccio, partner at Mayer Brown LLP in New York, will discuss the significant changes in U.S. policy on crypto assets and the digital assets sector overall since the November 2024 elections in the U.S. Joe will also discuss some of the concrete actions taken in the early stages of the second Trump Administration and what to expect from U.S. crypto regulators and Congress in 2025. Among other topics to be discussed are actions taken by the Securities and Exchange Commission, the prospects for a U.S. CBDC and strategic crypto reserve, and the outlook for new laws regarding stablecoins and crypto market regulation.
